Well, different cultures use different calendars. 你知道世界新年的日子很不一樣嗎? 因為每一個文化有自己特別的月曆。 Today is New Year's Day on the calendar most countries use. It's solar. It uses the sun. 大部分的國家都是今天過新年,因為他們用陽曆來算時間。 Now it's month seven on a different calendar. Muslims use this calendar. It's lunar. It uses the moon. The new year is in June on the calendar that most countries use. It begins when a new moon comes. 但是對於伊斯蘭教徒而言,現在是陰曆的七月,他們用月亮計算時間,新年是在我們陽曆的六月。 In Taiwan, we say our calendar is lunar. But it's not! It uses the moon AND the sun! The new year begins when the new moon closest to the first day of spring comes. That is the same for other planets too, like Mars. 水非常重要,沒有水就沒有生命,在火星上也是。 Scientists think Mars had lots of water billions of years ago. Then all the water on Mars went away. Where did it go? Maybe some water went into space. But where did most of it go? No one knows. 科學者認為火星在幾十億年前有水,但之後水慢慢消失了,是跑到太空了嗎?沒有人知道。 But now scientists think there is lots of water there. What? Mars is very dry! It was a fun, noisy day! 台中有一件刺激的事情!一輛超快的賽車在市政路上飆車,吸引六萬人來觀看,是熱鬧的一天! This was Taiwan's first F1 showrun! In a showrun, race cars drive on city streets. People are close to the race cars! 這是台灣第一次F1賽車表演,人們可以在熟悉的街道旁,近距離觀看賽車飆車 ! But what is an F1 car? "F1" means "Formula One." That's a very fast racing sport. F1 cars are very fast. They have one seat.
