Narrator: There's a brave dog in Peru. He is a hero at a gas station!
祕魯的一個加油站裡，有一隻勇敢的狗狗英雄!

The dog was a stray dog. He didn't have a home. He was thin, and he was
hungry all the time.
牠本來是一隻無家可歸的流浪狗，而且一直挨餓。

Some kind workers at a gas station started giving him food. So the dog loves
to go there.
有一些加油站員工會餵給牠食物，所以牠很愛跑去加油站。

One day, something very scary happened! Two bad people tried to take things
from the gas station.

Robber 1: Put the money in the bag!

Narrator: They were robbers! But the dog came to the rescue!
有一天，兩個可怕的搶匪到加油站搶劫! 這時候，狗狗英雄出現了!

The robbers tried to scare the dog …

Robber 2: Shoo! Go away!

Narrator: … But he was brave! He barked loudly. He chased the robbers away!
The workers were very thankful for the dog!
搶匪試著把牠嚇走，但牠很勇敢，邊叫邊把搶匪趕跑! 員工們都很感謝牠。

Now the dog is a guard at the gas station! He wears a red shirt with yellow
sleeves. The workers wear a red shirt with yellow sleeves too! He wears an ID
card with his picture.
現在這隻狗是加油站的警衛!
牠和其他員工一樣穿著制服，還有貼著牠的照片的員工證。

He has a nice doghouse. And now he gets breakfast, lunch, and dinner every
day!
牠現在有家可以住，三餐也都吃得飽飽的!

This brave dog is an important worker at the gas station. He keeps everyone
there safe!

The Pasta'ay Festival Is About Something Serious   2024.11.14 語音檔連結 The Saisiyat are one of the Indigenous Taiwanese Peoples. Long ago, there were many Saisiyat people. Today, there are around six thousand Saisiyat in Taiwan. 賽夏族是台灣的原住民族，原本人口很多的他們，現在只有大約 6 千人。 But the Saisiyat have saved their traditions. One tradition is a very interesting festival! 但是賽夏族保留了他們的傳統節慶，其中一個很有趣哦！ People usually have happy festivals. But the Saisiyat have a very different one. It's not a sad festival.
