A big U.S. company is selling new spaghetti. But guess what? Italians, who
love pasta, are mad about this!
一家美國大公司推出了新款義大利麵，但是熱愛義大利麵的義大利人很生氣，這是為甚麼呢?

Carbonara is a spaghetti dish from Italy. Some say it was first made during
World War Two. An Italian cook made it for American soldiers.

是義大利的培根蛋黃麵，最早可能是在二次世界大戰的時候，由一個義大利廚師做給美國士兵吃的。

Carbonara is made with pasta, cheese, eggs, black pepper, and pork cheek.
Many Italians think no other foods can be used.

由義大利麵、起司、蛋、黑胡椒和豬臉頰肉做成，許多義大利人都認為不能再加其他的食材。

But this company uses other foods in its carbonara. It uses cream! It uses
pork belly!
但是這家公司加了其他的食材，它用了奶油還有五花肉!

But, the worst is, it puts the carbonara in a can!
但最糟糕的是.... 這家公司把 Carbonara 裝進了罐頭裡!

Many Italian chefs think this new carbonara is a bad, bad idea. Italians care
a lot about Italian dishes. And some don't like changes to them.
很多義大利廚師認為這個主意壞透了。義大利人很重視他們的食物，有一些人也不喜歡菜餚改來改去。

But some people say it's okay to try new things. And carbonara in a can is
fast and easy.
不過也有些人說嘗試新點子是可以的，而且罐頭義大利麵方便又快速。

1) dish 菜色。

2) cheese 起司。
It should be pasta with cheese and tomatoes. 它應該是番茄起司義大利麵。
But it turned out to be a disaster! 卻成了一場災難!

3) try 嘗試。
The cheese burned and the pasta was undercooked. 起司燒焦了，麵條卻不熟。
Well, at least you tried.至少你有試著去做。

4) fast 快速的。
But it should be fast and easy! 但是它應該又快又容易的。
Next time just order takeout.下次叫外帶吧。
